We recently attended EcoBuild, a key event in the Construction industry calendar and a chance for us to showcase our exceptional range of durable tags, self-adhesive labels and self-ties to this sector. The show was a great success, and we enjoyed meeting our industry contacts, as well as lots of new faces.
During the event, we were extremely pleased to be presented with two awards from the BSI group.
The awards were long tenure awards in recognition of the fact that we have maintained ISO 9001 certification continuously for over 20 years.
For IML Labels, the certificate was first issued in 1994. For IML Badges & Mouldings, our sister company in Mansfield, the certificate was first issued in 2004 and they have therefore also qualified for a 10 year award.
ISO 9001 relates to maintaining quality and standards in any organisation. This standard is based on a number of principles including :
- Strong customer focus
- The motivation and implication of top management
- The process approach and continual improvement
These are all elements of our business which we take very seriously, and we’re proud to have held the certification for so long.
