Exhibition Update 2022
6th January 2022
At Dura-ID, we are proud to attend exhibitions and events up and down the UK to showcase the fantastic printing technology that we work with.
From printing solutions in the chemical industry to engineering and food packaging, we care about highlighting our printing capabilities to the entire world.
Of course, the coronavirus pandemic caused a lot of these events to be halted, which meant that we have been unable to get out there to exhibitions we love to attend every year.
But with restrictions now easing across the country, some of these exhibitions are now back on the table.
Here is an update as to the events we intend to attend over the next year or so.
Event: Advanced Engineering 2021
Location: NEC, Birmingham
Date, November 4 and 5 2021
Advanced Engineering 2021 is the leading annual engineering and manufacturing event for the engineering supply chain.
This exhibition is always a great opportunity to ensure we are part of the national springboard that engages new and exciting technology.
Dura-ID offers a huge range of durable tags that are perfect for heavy engineering and high temperature environments.
Rough handling, overseas exports, indoor or outdoor storage, our tough and long-lasting labels stand the test of time in almost any setting.
From virtually indestructible rip-proof tags to self-adhesive labels that attach to porous or uneven surfaces, Dura-ID’s expert engineers have a solution that is tailor-made to suit your requirements.
As well as our own specific labels, we can help provide you with in-house printing solutions: thermal printers, software, and technical support, among others. We will also showcase industrial badging from our mouldings division such as car and machinery badges. These high quality branding badges, nameplates and promotional items are available in a wide variety of colours, textures and finishes to suit your bespoke requirements. PAT test labels, warning labels for machinery and much more will also be on display.
All you need to do is come on down to the NEC in Birmingham where our experts would be happy to answer any questions you have.
Event: The UK Concrete Show
Location: NEC, Birmingham
Date: May 1-6, 2022
This is a new show in our repertoire, but we are just as excited for this one as our usual ones. It is Europe’s number one specialist concrete event and as it’s the UK’s only dedicated event to the concrete industry, it is an essential exhibition for us to attend.
Celebrating its 10th year, it is a brilliant exhibition to find out what is new in the industry so that we can stay at the forefront of printing technology for companies that deal with concrete on a regular basis. From machinery to chemicals and even labels, we will be showcasing our high strength adhesive labels that will stick to any surface, no matter how tough it is.
Our tear resistant, recyclable tags that ensure full traceability will also be on display alongside our thermal transfer printers that will help you overprint barcodes and other data.
Our new OKI C650 full colour printer can be shown to prospective customers, which is perfect for adding images, branding and colour coding to your products.
As well as our labelling software and consumables, we can help you set up your own on-site labelling operation with ease.
So for all your printing requirements if you are in the concrete industry, visit the Dura-ID stand and our experts would be delighted to talk you through how we can help to improve efficiencies in your operations.
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany
Date: May 9-13
Dura-ID will attend Wire in Dusseldorf and we will be occupying our usual space of 11J71.
This biannual expo is aimed towards the metals sector, for which Dura-ID supplies specialised, high performance tags and labels.
From tear-resistant tags and self-adhesive labels to heat resistant and high temperature tags, Dura-ID provides a range of labelling solutions for organisations within the metals industry.
World leaders will be presenting innovations in machinery, smarter production and products here, and Dura-ID is delighted to be able to showcase our printing products alongside such esteemed companies.
There will be organisations that trade in many different products at the expo, including glass fiber, measuring and control technology, test engineering, materials and cables, process technology tools and other specialist areas. These industries operate in fields such as the automotive, telecommunications, construction, chemical, gas and oil industries.
We are looking forward to demonstrating our latest technology as well as meeting market leaders, newcomers and other companies at this fantastic expo.
Location: NEC, Birmingham
Date: May 11 and 12
This ground-breaking event is the only supply chain expo for the UK chemical market. It only began in 2019 and we were one of the lucky ones who were able to attend the inaugural expo. Our products proved to be a real success and they seemed to really fit in with the ambitions and objectives of other exhibitors there.
We have been able to demonstrate BS5609 approved materials that keep you compliant with legislation across Europe. We have exclusive rights to distribute and service the Neuralabel 550e which can save you time and money, giving you autonomy over your full designs in-house.
We can demonstrate our full roll-to-roll print systems, as well as our full colour solutions for retail packaging and thermal transfer printers when you want to print over pre-printed media, saving you money on resources that may have been used in the past.
It is so important to ensure that you are getting the most from your identification process so this is an excellent opportunity for people in the chemical industry to ensure you are fully up to date with the latest legislation and regulations within industry.
Event: Four Oaks
Location: Lower Withington, Cheshire
Date: September 2022
Dura-ID is delighted to be attending the 50th Four Oaks trade show, which was initially meant to be taking place in 2021 but had to be postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
We have been exhibiting at Four Oaks for over 20 years and this is a great honour for us to attend the event every year.
Four Oaks is the premier show in the UK for ornamental horticulture, with over 35% of exhibitors from outside of this country. This shows the truly global appeal of the show, and we love to demonstrate the packaging and printing capabilities that our products can have for individuals and organisations in this industry.
The show has been made all the more poignant following the passing of event director Pat Coutts, who led the show for the past 50 years. Everybody at Dura-ID were very saddened to hear of her passing. Her legacy and dedication to the horticulture industry will be there forever and she will be sorely missed when we attend the show in September 2022. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
At the show, Dura-ID will be demonstrating the Hortipix Pro Printing solutions, which allows beautifully printed, photo quality printing labels in-house. This could be a truly vital piece of equipment for the horticultural industry and we are exclusive distributors and supporters of the Hortipix Pro for nurseries and garden centres. You will reduce wastage, save time, guarantee longevity and easily be able to adjust your printing requirements for all your customers.
Other items we can showcase include the Toshiba thermal transfer printers, which are great for self-adhesive and tag varieties that are weather-proof and required by growers, nurseries and garden centres.
Adhesive labels from Dura-ID will stick where others have failed, no matter what outdoor conditions you subject them to.
You will also be able to take a look at our new OKI C650 printer that is available for beautiful full colour plant labels and tags that will make your product look irresistible.
Recyclable curbside tags and all the variety they come in are also available.
We look forward to seeing you there!
