Wrapping Up The Year at Dura-ID Solutions

2023 has been another exciting year for us here at Dura-ID Solutions. From new acquisitions to a complete website overhaul, it’s been a year of growth and new beginnings. 

So, we’d like to take this opportunity to share our end-of-year wrap-up and celebrate our hard work. Here are some of our top highlights from 2023.

We Welcome Atwell Labellers to the Family

May 2023 saw Atwell Labellers join the company. 

Atwell Labellers was founded in 1988 and has grown to become the leading independent supplier of self-adhesive labelling machines in the UK. 

On the 19th of May, 2023, retiring joint owners David and Helen Charlesworth signed the deal with Dura-ID Solutions.

David Charlesworth said about the deal: 

“We are extremely pleased to be passing over the custody of the company to a family-run investment group who we are sure will facilitate the exciting next stage of the company’s history.”

Atwell Labellers is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dura-ID Solutions and continues to provide the highest-quality service and cutting-edge innovation.

Managing Director of Goonvean Holdings, Matthew Gazzard, had this to say about the acquisition: 

“Atwell’s specialised manufacturing capabilities make it a natural complement to Dura-ID solutions, and Atwell’s strong reputation for quality, service and innovation matches Dura-ID’s own dedication to high-quality design and innovation, operational excellence and speed to market.”

We’re thrilled to welcome Atwell Labellers to the team and look forward to the upcoming year.

A Year of Exhibitions

At Dura-ID Solutions, we love meeting our customers and demonstrating what our products do. That’s why we were thrilled to be able to attend seven exhibitions over 2023.

We kicked off in May with ChemUK, the UK’s largest networking event for the chemical industry. The two-day event took place at the NEC in Birmingham and covered a wide range of sectors. 

We enjoyed connecting with other industry experts and getting to meet our customers. 

In June, we attended the National Plant Show. Hosted by the Horticultural Trades Association (HTA), the event took place at NAEC Stoneleigh. It was a great day, and we’re grateful to everyone who came to say hello.

September was a busy month for our team. We attended Four Oaks, UK Metals, RWM, PPMA, and the Egypt Metals Show. We thoroughly enjoyed each exhibition and would like to reiterate our appreciation to the organisers and everyone we met during the events.

Thanks to the success of this year’s events, we’ve already got some exhibitions lined up for 2024. We can’t wait to see you there!

Our New Website Goes Live 

One of our most notable achievements this year was launching our new website in September. Throughout 2023, we’ve been working hard to update our website to make it as user-friendly as possible. 

And we’re happy to announce that it’s now live.

Our goal was to improve the overall user experience for our customers. So, we started by modernising the site’s look and feel and creating a more intuitive layout. 

It’s now easier than ever to browse our range of products and services.

In addition, we’ve added new sector-specific material to demonstrate the full range of industries we work across. This will demonstrate exactly what we do and how we can assist you.

Another highlight is the addition of downloadable product specification sheets for our most used products in the sector. This allows you to save the full list of specifications to read offline or share them with your team.

We also added a News section with the latest industry news, product updates, and educational material. Simply scroll through our blog posts or filter them by topic.

Sleek, practical, and with our customers in mind, we’re over the moon with the final result. 

Here’s To 2024

After a busy year, we’re ready to recharge our batteries before diving into 2024. We thank our team members, customers, and partners for their support in 2023. Here’s to another successful year!
