This year is Pukka Pies 60th year in business and was started by Valerie and Trevor Storer in a house in Leicester and now make over 1.2 million pies a week at their site in Syston. Pukka Pies took an MH241 printer from the team at Dura-ID and the support that they have received has been “5 stars”.
After loaning a printer to trail, they have now implemented 6 thermal printers throughout their factory with colour-coded metal-detectable tags.
The challenges they faced were:
- Consistent pre-set date allocation on tags to ensure accuracy.
The benefits of working with Dura-ID for them have been:
