    Food Processing Labels

Ensure your traceability is up to par.

When it comes to upholding the tight regulations and standards around food, you can’t afford to cut any corners; we have a wealth of experience in providing an end-to-end solution for food manufacturers throughout the supply chain to comply with these strict standards.

    Products and Services

Provenance, traceability and authenticity are hugely important to consumers when it comes to the food they choose to eat.

Here at Dura-ID, we recognise that transporting, processing, storing and cooking food can be a messy business; water, fat, blood, and other organic materials can spill onto tags and labels potentially making them difficult to read. Our food processing labels and tags are made using synthetic materials that can be easily wiped clean so data readability and product traceability aren’t compromised.

    Metal Detectable Tags

Metal detectable tags contain a metal foil centre which, when used in conjunction with end-of-line metal detectors, prevent fragments of food production labelling from entering the food chain.

These products are normally supplied in loop-lock format, so that no additional fixings are required, thus reducing the risk of contamination further. The design has been developed with easy application in mind, even with gloved hands.

Our tags are hard-wearing and available in a range of bright colours to support colour coding and easy visual identification in a fast-paced environment.

Printing on your tag to ensure accurate product information couldn’t be easier with a TSC printer and label software.

    High Temperature Tags

Maintain full product traceability of baked goods and their ingredients, including allergen identification, using Dura-ID Solutions’ specialised range of high-temperature tags.

Our heat resistant tags withstand temperatures from -30°C to +250°C making them ideal for products which are oven baked or steamed during production but stored and distributed at low temperatures without any label degradation.

With a variety of formats, sizes and printing options available, our high temperature traceable tags are suitable for a wide range of operations and can be supplied plain or pre-printed for you to over print at your premises with a suitable in-house printer.

    Carcass Tags

Carcass tags are used in abattoirs to help keep track of individual animals so they can be identified and traced throughout the entire food chain operation.

In order to mitigate various risks associated with transporting raw meat and help achieve the desired levels of quality assurance, traceability is a critical component to this procedure.

Carcass tags are a legal requirement for abattoirs and slaughterhouses. If these tags are not secured onto an animal properly or are missing altogether, business owners risk being fined and there is a serious health risk to the general public.

    HACCP Labels

HACCP – Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points –  is a preventative food safety system, set up by the European Union to protect consumers, which takes stock of the hazards in food.

Another aspect of HACCP is food product labelling. To avoid allergy cross-contamination and mislabelling, it is essential to make sure that the materials used as label products are safe within the environment and give a clear description of the contents.

To ensure your food business remains compliant with these standards, Dura-ID Solutions offer a variety of adhesive labelling options or tags to withstand drastic temperature changes in the kitchen environment.

    Distribution Labels

Labels which fall off or become brittle can result in unidentified produce, wastage, logistical problems and potential delivery rejection.

Dura-ID Solutions manufacture specialised labels which have been developed to withstand freezer and chilled storage conditions.  Our low temperature range is available in self-adhesive, self-tie, hang tag or as a rigid plastic carrier plate to suit your operations.

You receive peace of mind knowing your products will get to market clearly identified with readable data and full traceability.
